Parent’s Day is an opportunity for community members to access mutual aid, education and resources. This is also an opportunity for BPOC and Empower Alliance to receive support for the #WhyIDidntCall and other campaigns from orgs collaborating on throwing this event. Each organization (Black Phoenix Organizing Collective, Desert Star Family Planning Institute, Black Lives Matter Phoenix Metro, and Black Political Cultivation AZ) can communicate their orgs messages and share resources with community members. Children will have space for fun and activities and parents and families will receive resources on civic engagement and reproductive education.
